Final Product of Shoe

This is my final product of the shoe. I sewed a piece of cloth on half the side of the shoe and on the other side I put blue wires. I also added a shoelace to make it look like a shoe. This shoe represents a little of clumsiness or messy. It was to show that this shoe had gone through struggles in life. Shoes play a big role that they take you to different places anywhere and anytime. Looking at the shoe, it represents what life is about. You go through up and downs all the time. It tells a story or a past you've been through. The blue wire represents confidence or strength that was gained after going through a hardship. The shoelace helps intertwine the balance of failures and success. I chose this background because it looked simple and plain. I wanted the main focus to be the shoe.

I made this shoe out of wire by starting with the base. Then I started to work my way up by adding the outline of the shoe.

 My name is Julianne and I like to be active. I love being outdoor and exploring nature. I am the middle of the child and I have two older sisters and a younger brother. I am a golfer and I play for the high school team. I recently won districts for the second time and placed third in states. When I am not golfing, I like to watch movies and sometimes draw. For this class, I would like to learn how to make sculptures and learn new techniques to make my art better.
