Slab Artist

My slab artist that I like is Kristen Kieffer. I like her work because it is elegant and she uses a variety of designs on her products. She makes different things such as cups, bowls, and vases. I think her art work looks amazing.

Finished Coil Pottery

I made my product to be spit in half, just like my artist did. I also added some of the coil outside and put small circles. My theme is the Starry Night.

Further Progress

I added more details to the coil by just wrapping around the clay around.

I started making the base and worked my way up by making the clay into snakes. I would take this and wrap it around my product.

Coil Artist

My artist that I like is Juliet Blackman. Her art style is really interesting and it looks simple. I like how she combined the two parts together making it look floral. Her art works are based on nature and I think this is unique because a lot of the artists are focused on the basic design. Also, the colors on her art work are mixed in together and it creates a different perspective.
